Publisher and songwriter restrictions, "sing-ability," chart popularity, and numerous other factors will determine what new music we choose to produce. However, no matter
how much interest there is for a karaoke version of a song, some of them are just not legally licensable or economically practical to produce. So, while we're eager to hear
your suggestions, don't be too disappointed if we're not able to produce them.
But there are many songs that we might be able to consider producing. Your input will be important in helping us pick some winners. Songs do NOT have to be today's radio-play
music, either. If there are older hits for which a karaoke version was never recorded, those are candidates too.
We also understand that what plays in Peoria is not what would be popular on Broadway or Beale Street. In other words, regional and local interest in karaoke songs varies.
If we have enough licensees supporting sales in an area, we might be able to affordably produce more regional or local artists' songs that would do more for YOUR shows than a
top national hit song. With that in mind, WHERE you are located is an important piece of data we would like to have. If you're submitting a local- or regional-interest song,
please check the box and provide us with some additional information about the artist.
As you put in your requests, we ask that you provide us with some information about your interest and your experience level. This information helps us assess what the demand
for new music looks like. The more you can help us, the better the chance of us considering your request.
Finally, as we produce new material, we're looking at possibly doing some song-launch events at shows around the country. If you would be willing to host a launch event,
please let us know. The main requirement is access to a venue with a patron capacity of at least 100. We think these events will be a great way to promote your karaoke business
and your venue.
